Dependiendo de d\u00f3nde ocurra el fallecimiento, los herederos leg\u00edtimos tendr\u00e1n derechos diferentes sobre la porci\u00f3n del patrimonio dejado por el causante.<\/span><\/p><p><b style=\"font-weight: normal;\">\u00a0<\/b><\/p><p dir=\"ltr\" style=\"line-height: 1.7999999999999998; text-align: justify; margin-top: 0pt; margin-bottom: 0pt;\"><span style=\"font-size: 11pt; font-family: Arial,sans-serif; color: #000000; background-color: transparent; font-weight: 400; font-style: normal; font-variant: normal; text-decoration: none; vertical-align: baseline; white-space: pre-wrap;\">El lugar de residencia se determina mediante la vecindad civil de los individuos al momento de su muerte. Por esta raz\u00f3n, los herederos leg\u00edtimos y la cantidad que les corresponde en concepto de leg\u00edtima var\u00edan seg\u00fan el lugar de fallecimiento del causante.<\/span><\/p><p>\u00a0<\/p><p dir=\"ltr\" style=\"line-height: 1.7999999999999998; text-align: justify; margin-top: 0pt; margin-bottom: 0pt;\"><span style=\"font-size: 11pt; font-family: Arial,sans-serif; color: #000000; background-color: transparent; font-weight: 400; font-style: normal; font-variant: normal; text-decoration: none; vertical-align: baseline; white-space: pre-wrap;\">Antes de adentrarnos en el tema, recordemos qu\u00e9 es la leg\u00edtima. Se trata de aquella porci\u00f3n de la herencia que el testador no puede disponer libremente, ya que la ley la reserva a ciertos herederos, conocidos como herederos forzosos (seg\u00fan el art\u00edculo 806 del C\u00f3digo Civil).
